Make All the Things: Easy DIY Mini Dry Erase Board

Thanks for tuning in again to another Make All the Things DIY project! This week, I’ve got a super easy and useful craft that will probably take you all of 5 minutes to complete…maybe. Honestly more like 2 minutes, but I promise you the miniscule time investment is 100% worth it! It’s a Mini Dry Erase Board!

Step 1: Gather your supplies!

You’re going to need:

  • Picture Frame
  • Fabric
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Dry Erase Marker

Step 2: Remove the back of the picture frame. Seriously, you’re going to be amazed by how easy this is.

Step 3: Trace the outline of the cardboard/paper piece onto your fabric. You know…the piece of paper that usual has a stock photo of nature or a happy family. Mine had a nature thing going on.

Step 4: Cut your fabric to fit your frame. BOOM.

Step 5: Insert the fabric piece and return the back of the frame to it’s rightful place. Congratulations! You are now ready to leave a message or jot that important thing down you need to remember!

I told you this was going to be super easy! I love that it is a picture frame because I had leave it sitting as a note to my husband on the table, in front of the TV, next to his Xbox One controller…anywhere I think he’s likely to actually see my message! Also great for making quick shopping lists, jotting a phone number down, etc. The possibilities are endless!
